back to the music.

Start with the basics

• Confirm your iPhone has a working internet connection.
• Update SongDuel and iOS to the latest available versions.
• Force-quit SongDuel, reopen it, and leave it active briefly so sync can finish.
• If a specific song has no preview, use its Apple Music button. Apple Music does not supply a preview for every track.

Apple Music connection

• Open iOS Settings and confirm you are signed in under Media & Purchases.
• In the Music settings, turn on Sync Library.
• Confirm SongDuel is allowed to access Media & Apple Music.
• Open Profile in SongDuel, disconnect Apple Music, and reconnect it if authorization has expired.
• Full-song playback and some library features require an active Apple Music subscription.

Disconnecting Apple Music does not delete or sign out your SongDuel account.

Library, ranking, and sync

SongDuel saves picks offline first, so a comparison should not wait for the network. Cloud backup and restore occur separately after you sign in.

• Use the playlist filters to confirm the missing song is in the selected scope.
• SongDuel needs at least two eligible songs for a comparison and three completed picks to unlock rankings and history.
• Leave the app open after connecting a large library; the first paginated import can take several minutes and displays progress while it runs.
• The Top 10 playlist becomes available after ten eligible songs are ranked.

Account and data controls

Open Profile in SongDuel to disconnect Apple Music, delete ranking data without signing out, log out, or permanently delete your SongDuel account. Permanent deletion requires confirmation with the same Apple Account so SongDuel can revoke its Sign in with Apple grant before removing associated cloud data, subject to limited security, legal, and backup retention described in the Privacy Policy.

• the SongDuel app version;
• your iPhone model and iOS version; and
• steps that reliably reproduce the problem, if known.

Do not send secrets. Never include passwords, Apple credentials, authentication tokens, private relay addresses, or personal music history.
